Lloyd’s global (re)insurer MS Amlin has announced its appointment of Jessie Burrows (pictured) as chief financial officer (CFO) effective in early 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
Burrows will work closely with current and retiring CFO Phil Green throughout the first quarter of 2024 to oversee the closure and submission of 2023 year-end financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
Currently with Direct Line Group (DLG), Burrows is the managing director of customer sales, service and claims, leading the efforts of around 6,500 people across both commercial and personal lines.
Prior to DLG, she has taken on senior roles throughout her career including at Aviva, Aviva Global Asset Management and Aviva’s UK & Ireland General Insurance business. She also spent a number of years within KPMG’s insurance practice, supporting clients across a broad spectrum of consulting and advisory services.
