International mortgage broker Enness is launching a global insurance brokerage with a London-based leader, it has been revealed.

The new venture, Enness Global Insurance, is tying up with some big insurance names, including Hiscox and Chubb, the company said today in a release.

The brokerage will cover a global portfolio of assets, including property, antiques, luxury yachts, supercars and private jets, as well as life and medical insurance. It will also provide commercial insurance, including landlord insurance, employee liability insurance, cyber insurance, and protection against kidnap and ransom.

Enness CEO Islay Robinson said: “We help clients with the financing of their most prized assets. From the home they live in, to the business they run and the car they drive, we have a longstanding history of providing a high quality bespoke financing service. As such, offering a service which protects these assets is an obvious direction for us to take.

“Our clients want to have one brokerage who can handle it all, and we want it to be Enness. From helping to source the most suitable policy, to assisting with claims, our goal is to take the stress out of their hands.”

The new division will be headed up by London-based Greg Tighe, who has over 11 years’ experience in handling insurance for high net worth & ultra high net worth clients, specialising in sourcing bespoke insurance solutions to suit a client’s lifestyle, Enness said.
“The industry is crying out for a brokerage who can work with clients from the acquisition of their assets, to protecting them,” Tighe commented. “I’m excited to be a part of Enness’ next step in providing clients with a bespoke and holistic service, and look forward to being a part of its success.”

Chelsea Warren will also join the new team, heading up protection in Dubai and providing clients with a bespoke insurance service in the United Arab Emirates. Warren joins Enness with extensive knowledge of the protection sector, having looked after clients for one of London’s biggest brokerages before moving to Dubai to set up the protection division of a wealth management firm.

Enness said that it will work with insurers who “take a holistic approach, enabling them to be flexible when underwriting policies to ensure clients get the most suitable cover for their circumstances.”
