Millstream Underwriting, a part of independent specialty Managing General Agent Nexus
Group, has announced it has received all necessary approval to become a Lloyd’s Coverholder.
Millstream development manager Mark Copsey said the approval represents another step forward in the firm’s “continuing product diversification and growth.”
“This is great news for us, our clients and prospects, as it gives us added capacity and capabilities in our target markets,” he noted. “It’s also a reflection of the high quality of our team and the partners in our supply chain that deliver such an excellent service.”
City of London-based Millstream was acquired by Nexus in December 2015 as an independent managing general agency offering travel personal accident and sickness insurance covers, primarily underwritten on a business-to-business basis.
Earlier in May, Millstream launched Caritas – a “unique product” for the likes of non-governmental organisations and global charitable institutions.
