Miller has hired James Power to serve as its new exposure analytics lead.
The brokerage welcomed the specialist as part of its efforts to strengthen its exposure analytics and deal structuring offering for reinsurance clients. As part of his new role, Power will report to Miller head of analytics Mark Zammit, and will work with reinsurance colleagues across Miller’s London and Bermuda offices.

Zammit added that Power’s experience – especially in exposure management – demonstrates Miller’s mission to be able to respond immediately to clients’ needs.
Power has worked in the London market for more than 10 years, and most recently served at Apollo Syndicate Management Limited. He also has a Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional designation.

Power’s appointment comes after Miller opened a new office in Bermuda. The brokerage tapped Charlie Simpson to serve as the head of the new office.
