The future is looking bright for Liverpool’s Mason Owen Financial Services (MOFS), which now owns Wirral-based brokerage Business Insurance Services.
Lifting the lid on the swoop, managing director Andrew Gibbons (pictured) stated: “This acquisition continues an exciting year of change for the business and the expansion will only improve the service that we can provide to our clients, and we also believe that it will create further opportunities to develop our business into the future.”
In July 2018, MOFS started the process of moving its operations from Gladstone House in Union Court to its current modern location at 20 Chapel Street.
The Chartered insurance broker is part of the Mason Owen Group, whose chairman Barry Owen highlighted how they and Business Insurance Services share the same ethos when it comes to looking after loyal clients. In Owen’s view, this “can only bode well” for their future together.
Meanwhile Business Insurance Services founder and former joint owner John Hudson said they had been looking for the right partner for some time. The goal is to take forward their foundations while retaining independence and flexibility.
“We believe that Mason Owen Financial Services shared those views as they are reflected in the way that Mason Owen operate themselves,” noted Hudson.
