Top insurance broker Marsh will welcome its new chemicals and life sciences industry practice leader for the UK & Ireland in January 2020.
Succeeding Simon Thompson in the New Year is Jenny Yu, who is making the switch from Munich Re where she has spent nine years in a variety of underwriting and analytics roles focused on the life sciences, pharma, and biotech sectors. She most recently served as life science risk solutions leader.
“The life sciences sector faces an increasingly challenging risk environment, ranging from pressures on product pricing and accelerating regulation to threats to intellectual property, data security, and supply chain resilience,” noted Yu, whose predecessor is retiring from Marsh.
“I look forward to leading the chemicals and life sciences team to deliver solutions that enable Marsh’s clients to address the risks they face, protect their assets, and continue to thrive.”
Based in London, Yu will report to UK & Ireland industry practices head Charles Beresford-Davies.
