Major industry software provider names new CEO, chairman

New CEO aims to deliver first class solution for insurers at a lower cost of ownership compared to the industry norm

The global provider of software to property and casualty insurers has added Henry Bonner and Kevin Hesselbirg to its top brass.
 
Carlyle-owned 1insurer has announced the appointment of Bonner and Hesselbirg as CEO and chairman respectively, effective immediately.
 
Bonner said he is delighted to join 1insurer during its evolution and at an “exciting time of opportunity and change in the marketplace.”
 
He said he will build on the company’s commitment to deliver top-notch solutions to customers in every aspect of policy administration, claims management and data analytics.
 
“My intention is to further develop our customer focused business model with an aim to delivering a best in class solution for the insurance industry at a lower cost of ownership compared to the industry norm,” Bonner said.
 
Meanwhile, Hesselbirg said he has high expectations for the company’s future potential.
 
“There continues to be a significant investment in the company to bring in additional senior leaders and talent which will enable the company to better support its customers and to develop innovative solutions for the market,” he said.
 
Bonner comes from OpenLink Financial, where he held key business development roles including the CEO of a software division.
 
He has over 30 years of experience in enterprise software and has held several senior roles spanning sales, operations and product management.
 
Hesselbirg is the former CEO of Primatics Financial and the previous CEO, CFO and COO of OpenLink Financial.
