Lycetts, an equine and bloodstock insurance broker, has announced the renewal of its sponsorship deal with Charlie Deutsch, a British national hunt jockey.
“I’m delighted by the investment Lycetts has made in me. Its belief and encouragement are hugely important, and will help me achieve my potential,” said the jockey, based in Gloucestershire.
Deutsch has been enjoying a successful season – he won The Betfair Chase at Haydock aboard Royale Pagille. Deutsch has also recently competed at the Howden Silver Cup Handicap Chase aboard Victtorino.
“We feel talent should be encouraged, and our backing of Charlie, and our other jockeys, is just one of the ways we support the racing industry,” said Willam McCarter, Lycetts’ regional director.
Lycetts began sponsoring Deutsch in 2017.
