Insurance provider Liverpool and Victoria (LV=) has entered into a partnership with financial specialist Key Retirement to provide customers access to a low-cost customised retirement advice service.
Under the new partnership, Key Retirement customers who wish to take advice regarding their pension savings will be referred to LV=.
Customers can choose to either use LV=’s online retirement advice solution, Retirement Wizard, or speak to one of the insurer’s qualified advisers over the phone.
John Perks, LV= managing director of retirement solutions, said the service will “offer more people access to convenient, regulated advice and help them get the most out of their money.”
“Turning pension savings into a retirement income is an extremely complex choice and advice is crucial in ensuring people get a good deal,” Perks said.
Following the newly announced partnership with Key Retirement, the insurer is eyeing to make similar collaborations with other firms.
“We look forward to partnering with more organisations in the future through our Corporate Solutions service, either providing access to our advice channels or supplying white-labelled digital components to help other businesses, including advisers, further improve their processes,” Perks said.
Key Retirement, the financial specialist for those aged over 50s, has been helping customers on their retirement finances for over 18 years.
The firm has an existing relationship with LV=, offering the firm’s annuity and lifetime mortgage products to its customers.
