It’s been a busy week for Sean McGovern (pictured).
It was on Wednesday that McGovern was revealed as the new chief executive for the UK & Lloyd’s market at AXA XL (read the full story here). Now, he has been added to the London Market Group’s board.
McGovern moves into the position previously held by Sinéad Browne, who, until recently, was CEO at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty UK.
“We are pleased that Sean is joining the board. His many years of experience in Lloyd’s and the wider London Market will be a valuable addition to our thinking as we support the different communities within the insurance ecosystem and think about how the market develops in a post COVID world,” said chair of the LMG, Matthew Moore. “I would like to thank Sinéad for being a great supporter of the LMG and for her insights and input during her time on the board.”
