With Malcolm Newman, the managing director of the EMEA hub for SCOR departing the London Market Group, there will be a new representative from the International Underwriting Association.
That man is Patrick Tiernan, managing director UK commercial lines and global corporate and specialty at Aviva.
Tiernan has joined the board and received a big welcome from chair Matthew Moore who noted he was “delighted” with the arrival.
“His insight from the London company market, whose recent report demonstrates its growth and dynamism, will give a valuable perspective to our work and to our thinking about how we support the market moving forward,” Moore said. “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Malcolm for his tremendous support and input during his time on the board.”
