Lloyd’s Insurance Company S.A. (Lloyd’s Europe) has appointed Diana Santin as general representative for Italy, subject to regulatory approval.

In a market bulletin announcing the changes, Lloyd’s in London said interim general representative Nicoletta Andreotti will remain in the role until the regulatory green light has been obtained for Santin.

Additionally, Lloyd’s noted: “Diana Santin has been appointed to MEDI regional manager, one of four sub-regions of Lloyd’s Europe, with effect from June 17, 2024.”

Santin is based in Milan.

Last December, Lloyd’s Europe unveiled a new leadership line-up for 2024. Then chief financial officer and chief operations officer Jonathan May succeeded Amélie Breitburd, who left at the end of 2023, as chief executive.

Other changes included James Davidson’s promotion from deputy chief financial officer to CFO of the Brussels-based Lloyd’s subsidiary.
