The European counterpart of insurance intermediary OneAdvent has officially become a Lloyd’s broker.
Based in Hamburg, ASM OneAdvent Europe GmbH (OneAdvent Europe) was set up last year in response to Brexit. Having attained Lloyd’s broker status, OneAdvent Europe can now place European Economic Area risks into Lloyd’s Europe.
“The team has been incredibly busy over lockdown,” noted OneAdvent chief operating officer Tim Quayle, “firstly in the establishment of our German subsidiary and, secondly, in achieving Lloyd’s broker status for this business.
“As Lloyd’s drives its innovative future of insurance agenda, we are keen to be part of that exciting journey and to grow our relationship with this leading insurance market.”
OneAdvent has been a Lloyd’s coverholder since 2005 and a Lloyd’s broker since 2019. Part of its European division’s remit is to support the growth of the group’s managing general agents beyond the UK.
