Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has appointed Renske Franken-le-Clercq as head of European claims for commercial and specialty business written outside of London.
Franken-le-Clercq is based in The Hague, where she served as claims manager for LSM for six years. In her new role, the promoted executive will report to both LSM head of claims Mike Gillett and head of Europe Kadidja Sinz.
“This dual reporting line reflects LSM’s commitment to ensuring that its claims and underwriting teams work closely together to enable our European customers and brokers to benefit from a fully co-ordinated, class claims service,” explained the firm when it announced the appointment.
In Europe LSM has presence in Barcelona, Cologne, Dublin, Hamburg, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Paris, The Hague, and
Zurich.
“I am delighted that Renske has accepted this new role,” said Gillett. “It’s always rewarding to be able to fill senior positions from within the business and Renske’s promotion is testament to the depth of talent that we have in our claims operations within Europe.
