Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has widened the remit of financial lines continental Europe underwriting manager Emmanuel Silvestre (pictured).
Silvestre, who came onboard when LSM opened its Paris branch in 2004, will keep his underwriting role while being elevated to the position of deputy general manager for the firm’s French operation.
The promoted executive has developed all lines of business related to the financial risks department including directors and officers (D&O), crime, cyber, and kidnap and ransom. His retained responsibility supports the group’s European growth plan and also promotes the development of new products with dedicated services.
“Financial lines have spearheaded our development in France and enabled us to achieve a level of expertise and experience welcomed by our brokers and clients,” noted LSM general manager for France Richard Deguettes.
“Emmanuel’s promotion strengthens our senior management team at a key moment in our growth. Our product innovation capabilities and constant search for the best possible quality of service will allow us to improve customer satisfaction across all product lines.”
