There he was instrumental in developing post LASPO (Legal Aid, Sentencing, and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012) ATE insurance products and assisting solicitor business partners adapt to the Jackson reforms.
Director of underwriting Phil Bellamy commented: “It is great news that Richard has joined our team at such an exciting time of our development, where he will be able to hit the floor running with many of his old colleagues in support.”
Bellamy said Whale’s knowledge of the ever-evolving ATE marketplace will aid Legal Protection Group’s partners in navigating current and future legislation changes, as well as help develop market-leading products and initiatives.
“Richard’s knowledge and experience further strengthens our ATE team, and I look forward to working with him on the many new and exciting developments that we are planning over the coming months,” said Legal Protection Group managing director Martin Rowan.
