There will be a new chief financial officer at Legal & General imminently, according to reports.
Jeff Davies, a senior partner with Ernst & Young LLP, is set to step into the role and replace Mark Gregory as the UK’s CFO following the publication of the company’s preliminary results.
According to Bloomberg, Gregory will step down from the board when Davies moves into the job, but will stay with the company until August 31 next year.
Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Davies held senior actuarial roles with
Swiss Re Life & Health.
Legal & General has seen a recovery in its shares following a sell-off on the back of Britain’s decision to leave the European Union. However, they are still down around 8% this year.
