Diane Garriock, who led Kingdom Insurance Services Ltd as the broker’s founder and managing director, has passed away.
In its announcement, the Fife-based company said: “For those who wish to pay their respects to Diane, please note that the funeral service will be held at Dunfermline Crematorium, Masterton Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8QR on Thursday, November 3, at 2pm.”
Kingdom Insurance’s premises in Inverkeithing will be closed on that day to allow colleagues to pay their respects.
“The family requests anyone attending to wear a small amount of red, a colour synonymous with Diane,” added Kingdom Insurance, which expressed “great sadness” while also offering thanks to clients for their continued support.
According to the statement, Kingdom Insurance will continue to trade as a family-owned business. The firm has been in operation since 1999.
