Specialty insurance and reinsurance underwriting platform K2 International (K2) has named Ruth Reynolds (pictured) as a new underwriter for its financial team.
Reynolds, a senior insurance professional, has over 30 years of experience in financial lines as a broker and underwriter. Before joining K2, she was a senior broker at Aon Financial Services North American operations. She also held an underwriter role at Chubb’s (ACE before its acquisition) financial institutions team and worked at Sedgwick’s financial institution team.
Commenting on her appointment, Reynolds said: “I am hugely excited by the opportunities that being part of K2 will bring. K2 has an incredible opportunity to lead the market with creative and forward-thinking strategies for the evolving risk landscape our asset management clients face. I am delighted to be joining the K2 Financial team and working alongside such a talented and future-facing group of individuals, backed by outstanding underwriting capacity.”
In her new role, Reynolds will report to K2 Financial managing director Richard Coello.
