Jensten Network debuts with flexible options for UK brokers

Jensten Group has introduced Jensten Network, a new broker network aimed at providing insurance professionals and independent brokers across the UK with flexible options for business growth and operational support.

The network is open to independent brokerages, appointed representatives (ARs), and Coversure franchise members.

It is designed to offer brokers the benefits of both autonomy and scale, expanding on the Coversure franchise model, which supported over 90 local offices and generated more than £135 million in gross written premium (GWP) in 2024. Jensten Network will be led by network director Jordan Maskell.

Brokers can join through three routes. The Appointed Representatives model allows professionals and brokerages to operate within the existing Coversure framework. Meanwhile, the directly authorised brokerage option enables individuals to establish and grow their own firms under the Coversure brand with direct authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Finally, the third route is for independent brokerages that are already established and seeking to join a network or transition from an existing one.

Jensten Network provides a range of services to support broker growth, including client money handling, market access, regulatory guidance, mergers and acquisitions support, and business development assistance.

The launch of Jensten Network is in-line with the company’s growth plans for the times ahead, with CEO Rob Organ (pictured above) highlighting acquisitions, organic growth and new levels of investment when he was named to the top post in November 2023.

Speaking with Insurance Business in February, Organ noted that Jensten completed some 37 acquisitions since 2021. However, Jensten is not anticipating slowing or speeding up its rate of M&A activity, he said, and anticipates circa a dozen deals in 2025.

Organ said the current market presents challenges, with increased regulatory requirements and customer demands, but the Coversure model has demonstrated the value of a strong network. By expanding this proposition, he said, Jensten Network aims to support brokers in navigating these challenges.
