iprism, a specialist MGA operating in the HNW, construction, property and commercial spaces, has appointed Aaron Woodhams (pictured left) as chief underwriting officer and Bradley Harmer (pictured right) as chief commercial officer.
An emailed news release about the dual appointments said the move is part of iprism’s strategy to fortify its position in the UK market.
Woodhams joined iprism in 2019 as an underwriting manager and was promoted to the role of head of underwriting two years later. His industry experience also includes senior positions at Arch Insurance, Axiom, and Allianz.
Harmer has been with iprism since 2015, when he joined as business development manager. He has held a number of roles within the MGA through the years and was named head of sales and business development last year.
With their new roles, Woodhams and Harmer will become part of the iprism board. They will be joining current board members Manuela Roncalli, Raj Bosamia, and Ian Lloyd, who also serves as CEO.
Commenting on the appointments, Lloyd emphasised the importance of having a “robust executive team” to support iprism’s continued growth.
“Aaron and Bradley’s skills and experience perfectly complement that of our existing board members, and I’m proud to bring them into these newly created roles, Lloyd said. “The future is extremely bright for iprism, and I’m confident we have the right team in place to achieve our ambitions.”
In September, iprism swooped for Kent-based SK Underwriting, marking its second acquisition. It acquired Metier Underwriting last year.
