Two insurance companies have made management changes, with one naming a successor for an executive that will be retiring.
Ali Arisoy (pictured above, left) has been named as Price Forbes Turkiye chief broking officer. He began his career as a project manager for a global EPC company, managing construction, planning and operations for industrial-scale power plants.
Arisoy later contributed to the establishment of VHV Reasurans, Turkey’s first foreign direct investment reinsurer, where he held leadership roles and helped develop the engineering, specialty, treaty and retrocession departments. His underwriting responsibilities covered 38 countries across the CEE, MENA and CIS regions.
“I am excited to join Price Forbes and to reconnect with our clients and business partners within the region with our highly skilled team of specialists,” Ansoy commented on his appointment. “Price Forbes and the Ardonagh Group has existence in all major insurance and reinsurance markets which will allow us to provide best in class service to meet the expectations of our clients in Turkiye, Middle East and CIS regions.”
Sarah Kirby (pictured above, right) will join Vitality on March 1 as chief people officer, succeeding Judy Parfitt, who will retire at the end of June.
In her new role, Kirby will oversee all aspects of the people and property function for Vitality, including human resources, talent management, employee communication and engagement, as well as management of property and facilities.
Kirby previously served as group HR chief operations officer at Zurich. Prior to that, she was global head of group JR strategy, organisation development and transformation. She has also held other senior roles at HSBC and other financial institutions.
“Sarah brings extensive experience and a strategic vision that will support our business and teams, further strengthening our unique culture of innovation, inclusivity and collaboration,” said Vitality CEO Neville Koopowitz.
Parfitt, who has been with the company for eight years, will support Kirby until June, during the transition period.
