Insurance law firm EC3Legal has launched an international disputes resolution practice as part of plans to extend its capabilities.
The new legal arm will provide advice and representation on insurance and reinsurance coverage, claims, and subrogation issues across a range of specialty lines and industry sectors.
EC3Legal new partner Paul Wordley will head the new practice. According to the firm, he has extensive experience advising on complex claims, dispute resolution and coverage issues in the international insurance and reinsurance markets. He joins from HFW where he was head of insurance and reinsurance and on the management and strategy boards.
Wordley particularly specialises in in the oil, gas, mining, marine, commtech and construction sectors, including Bermuda Form/OIL matters.
The firm has also appointed Graham Denny as a partner, and Peter Schwartz as a consultant. Denny is versed in insurance and reinsurance law; including insurance wording reviews, product development and coverage matters. Meanwhile, Schwartz advises on all forms of property and liability insurance, reinsurance and cyber liability disputes.
