Marsh, Previsico, H&H Insurance Brokers, and the London Market Group have announced a series of leadership appointments as they strengthen their teams for 2025.
Marsh has appointed Nigel Hinshelwood as chair of Marsh Limited in the UK, effective March 31, 2025, subject to regulatory approval. He will succeed Tom Colraine.
He currently serves as senior independent director at Lloyds Bank, an International Advisory Council Member at Adobe Systems Software, and an advisory council member of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers.
Before his non-executive roles, Hinshelwood held senior positions at HSBC, including head of HSBC UK, deputy CEO of HSBC Bank plc, global head of Operations, and head of HSBC Insurance Holdings. He previously worked as a partner at Ernst & Young.
At Previsico, Colin Ross (pictured above, left) has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO). He will oversee technical operations, manage project frameworks, and lead the delivery of the company’s IoT flood warning systems in the UK and US.
Ross has been with Previsico for over four years and previously worked as a senior project manager at Barratt Developments. His experience includes managing project functions, optimising business processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of technical systems.
In his expanded role, he will lead technical operations, oversee 24/7 system monitoring and support, and drive improvements to enhance operational efficiency and international growth.
