With its sights set on significant growth, Sheffield-based insurance broker IFM is on the move.
The company is switching its 30-strong team across to a new office at Parkway Works on Kettlebridge Road today – this after more than 30 years at its previous location in Broomhill.
According to an Insider Media report, the office move is seen as the latest step in the company’s growth plans and the firm is looking to recruit and invest in staff across Sheffield and the surrounding area.
“Sheffield is a great location for us to grow and expand our business,” Mark Barlow, managing director of IFM, told the publication. “Our move to new premises at Parkway Works is a reflection of our long-term commitment to the local community as well as our intention to recruit locally to help grow the business over the coming years.
“The investment we’ve made in Sheffield will help develop our capability into existing and new areas of insurance.”
The brokerage is named after Ian Frank Micklethwaite and is a member of the Brokerbility Group.
