Veteran insurance executive Kieran O’Keeffe will rejoin Liverpool Victoria (LV=) over a decade after he left the company to work for three other major industry players.
O’Keeffe will return to LV= as general insurance finance director during the last quarter of the year, the insurer has announced.
“I'm looking forward to rejoining LV=. It's a company with a great reputation for quality products and excellent customer service,” he said. “In the 12 years since I left, the general insurance business has grown significantly, and is in great shape.”
O’Keeffe first joined LV= in September 2000 and held several senior executive roles, including general insurance financial controller and support manager, and head of membership services. Before leaving the company in 2004, he served as head of service for the company’s IFA and life business.
He moved to the
Direct Line Group in 2004 as special risks manager and later served as financial director, head of central decision support and director of risk.
In 2013, the Lloyd’s Banking Group appointed O’Keeffe as general insurance finance director. He then joined the Co-operative Group in 2014 as general insurance CFO.
“It's with great pleasure that we welcome back Kieran O'Keeffe as our new finance director, general insurance. Kieran has a wealth of financial management experience in the general insurance arena,” said Steve Treloar, LV= general insurance managing director.
