Rokstone’s UK farm and agriculture specialist, iFarm Underwriting, has expanded its specialist agricultural underwriting team with two new appointments.
Gary Lennie (pictured above, on the left) has joined as an underwriter, increasing the team’s total to 10 specialist agricultural underwriters.
He previously worked at Hiscox and has 14 years of commercial underwriting experience. His background includes roles at BQI Insurance, Towergate and Aviva, where he gained expertise in risk assessment and underwriting decision-making. His appointment aligns with iFarm’s focus on strengthening its underwriting capabilities to better serve brokers and clients in the agricultural sector.
Shane Mustill (pictured above, on the right) has rejoined iFarm as head of distribution after a period at Geo Agriculture, where he was regional development manager. He has more than 13 years of experience in underwriting and business development.
In his new role, he will focus on supporting brokers and their clients by ensuring that cover meets the evolving needs of farmers and agribusinesses. His return to iFarm reflects the company’s strategy of investing in experienced professionals to enhance service delivery at a time of increasing uncertainty for the agricultural sector.
The appointments come as iFarm continues to expand its product offerings and strengthen its position in the market. Last year, Aidan Lennon and Mark Williamson joined as underwriters, expanding the firm’s expertise in farm insurance.
