Specialty managing general agent (MGA) iFarm Underwriting has announced a major expansion with the promotion of Lee Ellis to company head and the addition of four new underwriters.
Elllis joined Rokstone – iFarm’s parent firm – in 2022, coming from Geo Underwriting. Last year, he joined iFarm as underwriting performance manager, a role which saw him supporting and contributing to the underwriting operational rhythm. Before his tenure at Geo Underwriting, he worked for eight years at Rural Insurance in various managerial and lead roles. He kicked off his career in the industry at Direct Line Group, where he would spend more than 12 years.
According to his LinkedIn, he holds a business degree from St John Fisher Catholic College. He is also certified under the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

In a news release, Rokstone chief underwriting officer Gavin Dollings expressed his excitement over the firm’s expansion.
