Howden Insurance Brokers Limited announced the appointment of Claire McDonagh (pictured left) and Mariana Weigel Munoz (pictured right) as divisional directors in its Accident & Health (A&H), Life, and Special Risks team.

In a LinkedIn post, Howden stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Claire McDonagh and Mariana Weigel Munoz to our Accident & Health, Life, and Special Risks team. In their new roles, Claire and Mariana will focus on enhancing our direct and facultative proposition, particularly for complex, cross-border high-hazard risks. They will also play a pivotal role in distributing A&H products through Howden’s ever-expanding retail network.”

McDonagh brings over 20 years of experience in broking and underwriting. Prior to joining Howden, she held positions at Miller Insurance Services LLP, Aspire Insurance Advisers Limited, and AIG, where she specialised in multinational accident and health underwriting.

Munoz, who joins with more than 25 years of experience in the London market, has spent the last two decades focused exclusively on A&H products. Before this appointment, she worked at Miller Insurance Services Limited, building a track record in brokering and risk management.

Commenting on the appointments, Howden stated, “We’re excited about the expertise and insight Claire and Mariana bring to strengthen our offerings and drive further innovation for our clients.”
