It’s full steam ahead for insurance broker Howden UK as far as its employee benefits division is concerned.
Hot on the heels of Glenn Thomas’s appointment as employee benefits managing director is a double hire from Jelf and Fidelius. Adam Harding, an international health and medical insurance expert, comes onboard as divisional director for international benefits, while Rob Atkins joins as senior consultant after most recently serving in the same capacity.
Harding will be in charge of developing overseas opportunities from the UK market. He becomes part of the employee benefits executive management team with the aim of building an international unit.
Atkins, meanwhile, will specialise in providing workplace pensions’ advice to corporate clients, as well as contributing to the development of Howden’s workplace pension, savings, and financial education services.
“Howden’s success to date, both in the UK and internationally, has been built on a deep understanding of the sectors we serve, and we are now embedding employee benefits at the heart of our client proposition,” said Thomas. “Expertise is so vital in such a specialised area, and I am delighted to have Adam and Rob, two high-calibre individuals, joining our ambitious and growing team.”
