Howden has expanded its risk management capabilities in the UK through the acquisition of AHR Consultants, a major player in HR, employment law, training, and health & safety services.
The AHR Consultants team, headquartered in Rugby, specialises in providing a range of HR support and consultancy solutions, including legally compliant employment documentation and unlimited HR advice.
AHR Consultants also extends its expertise to health and safety compliance, offering support for risk assessments, fire safety, policies, training, and access to legal experts.
Howden’s strategic move to acquire AHR Consultants aligns with its commitment to strengthening its presence in the UK market, it stated.
AHR Consultants MD Simon Howes (pictured) commented: “Becoming part of Howden is an exciting step for our clients and employees. We look forward to the opportunity to extend the range of services we can offer our clients and to offering AHR’s risk management services to Howden clients.”
Warren Dickson, CEO corporate & commercial at Howden, welcomed Howes and the AHR Consultants team to Howden.
“It is clear that AHR and Howden have a very similar customer service ethos and the two businesses are a great fit. I’m looking forward to seeing our newly expanded risk management proposition grow and thrive over the coming years through this exciting acquisition,” he said.
The deal with AHR Consultants follows Howden’s acquisition of a Scotland-based personal and commercial lines broker.
