Global insurance group Howden has appointed Annabelle Cervera (pictured above) as an account executive to its South Wales team as part of its ongoing expansion.

Cervera joins the Cardiff office after seven years at WTW, where she also served as an account executive.

At Howden, her role will involve building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their business and risk management needs, and providing customised insurance solutions.

On her new role, Cervera expressed her enthusiasm for joining Howden’s South Wales team, citing the company's focus on people, its employee ownership model, and the positive atmosphere within the team.

She said that it aims to contribute to the growth of the Cardiff and Swansea offices, support local businesses, and deliver tailored solutions to clients.

Gary Stevens, regional managing director, welcomed Annabelle to the team, highlighting her expertise in managing multinational accounts and the value she will bring in supporting corporate clients across various industry sectors.

Howden is also a principal partner of The British & Irish Lions, serving as the official front-of-jersey sponsor for the 2025 Men’s Lions tour to Australia and the Series title partner for the Howden Women’s Lions tour to New Zealand in 2027.

In other news, FullCircl, a software provider for insurance brokers, has signed a multi-year agreement with Howden to help streamline compliance and improve client service.

The FullCircl SmartBroker package will be integrated within the Acturis platform, aiming to enhance client acquisition and retention processes across Howden's national branch network.

This initiative, led by Carl Shuker, CEO of Howden UK&I, is designed to support a consistent client experience across the group.

The rollout, the largest since FullCircl and Acturis partnered in 2023, will extend to 2,000 Acturis users within Howden, with the goal of providing significant client benefits while reducing compliance costs.
