Fiona Mayo is joining Hiscox later this month to serve as UK marketing director.

Reporting to interim Hiscox UK chief executive Stéphane Flaquet, Mayo will be leading a 20-strong team and taking charge of developing and driving the specialist global insurer’s marketing and brand strategy in the country.

“The opportunities ahead for Hiscox are immense,” said the incoming hire, “and I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to build on the powerful brand and marketing heritage that has helped turn the business into the insurance force it is today.

“Digital innovation can help support our customers through challenging times, and I believe we can place Hiscox at the forefront of that innovation, with effective marketing that supports our ambition.”

Mayo brings more than two decades of experience to Hiscox. Her marketing credentials include time spent at SSE Energy Services, OVO, and Vodafone.

“Fiona is a strong addition to the team and will play an important part in delivering the next chapter of our marketing and brand strategy here in the UK,” commented Flaquet.

“Her diverse experience and innovative marketing approach are a great match for our growth ambitions, and I very much look forward to working with her.”
