HF Solicitors (formerly known as Horwich Farrelly) has appointed Jennette Newman (pictured above) as partner and head of London Markets.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the legal and insurance sectors, Newman is an experienced UK and international casualty lawyer. Her expertise encompasses various areas, including claims, defence litigation, and coverage. She provides counsel to insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, corporates, and other risk carriers across all aspects of claims, investigation processes, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
She brings a wealth of experience in handling highly sensitive, multi-party, multi-jurisdictional, high-value, and complex claims, including those involving catastrophic injuries and major incidents and disasters. In addition to her legal career, Newman serves as a non-executive director of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and holds the position of Alderman of the City of London for Walbrook Ward.
“Jennette is an exciting addition to our team. Her skills and expertise will help expand our service offering as well as giving us yet another firm foundation for our ambitious growth plans.” HF Solicitors CEO and managing partner Ronan McCann said.
In May, the insurance and commercial legal adviser also bolstered its flagship office in Manchester with 21 new hires to be based in the Media City office.
