HDI Global SE has a new underwriter for life science risks.
Tanya Patel (pictured) will now be in charge of underwriting the likes of pharmaceuticals, medical products and devices, chemicals, and clinical trials at the industrial lines insurer.
“HDI Global has an established reputation as a market leader in this sector built on our expertise, experience, and specialist knowledge,” commented life science practice leader Tom Daniels. “Tanya brings us relevant technical experience, and her appointment is further evidence of our commitment to providing comprehensive and competitive coverage to meet our clients’ needs.”
Prior to her appointment, Patel was a specialist environment impairment liability and casualty assistant underwriter at RSA.
