H&R Insurance Services has hired Mathew Johnston and Lynsey Yeats to serve as commercial account executive and commercial account handler, respectively.
Between Johnston and Yeats, they have 34 years of insurance industry experience. The two join H&R from a “well-established, previously independent” insurance broker in Angus, a release said.
According to H&R partner Shona Robertson, the hirings come after a particularly busy year for the business, and the celebration of its 50th anniversary.
“The recruitment environment is particularly challenging across our sector, it has been difficult to find individuals with the right experience and cultural fit to complement our existing team, so I’m really delighted to be able to recruit two experienced members to our team,” explained Robertson.
Both Johnston and Yeats will help service existing clients with day-to-day administration duties, as well as handle enquiries.
H&R Insurance also noted that the two new recruits come as the company saw organic growth of 13% in the year to December 2022.
“I am proud to have such a great team, who work so hard day-in, day-out to deliver the service everyone has come to expect from H&R Insurance,” said Robertson.
Shona Robertson was named one of Insurance Business’s Elite Women in 2021.
