Global Risk Partners (GRP) has snatched up Towergate Insurance veteran Sarah Hyman (pictured) for the position of retail operations director.
“This is a key role for the retail division, and Sarah has the experience and capability we need,” asserted GRP retail chief executive Duncan Carter. “Retail has been the engine room for GRP’s M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activities over the years, but we are equally focussed on organic growth.
“Capturing, managing, and using the vast data pool from our businesses, and creating a slick, integrated operation is a key component in delivering year-on-year growth. It’s great that we have brought Sarah into the team to build on the work which has already been done in this direction, and lead our operational development into the future.”
Hyman, who was with her previous employer for two decades, is in charge of supporting the overall growth plans for GRP’s retail division, as well as implementing operational strategies to drive efficiencies and delivering customer excellence.
“GRP is a fantastic success story in UK broking and, under Brown & Brown’s ownership, will continue to set the pace in our industry,” said the new retails operations director, who took on the post at the beginning of the month. “The business is a magnet for people like me who want to be part of that success story and help grow GRP to even greater heights.”
