Chartered managing general agent Geo Underwriting has installed Jaime Swindle (pictured) as chief executive of its UK commercial MGA.
Geo Underwriting, which last month completed its swoop for loss recovery insurance MGA and assistance specialist Lorega Holdings, is joined by Swindle from Bravo Group where she served as networks and products managing director.
Bravo Group and Geo Underwriting are both under the wide umbrella of The Ardonagh Group.
As previously announced, Swindle was going to be part of Geo Underwriting’s leadership team. When the move was first revealed, Swindle’s new job title was not outlined; only that she would be supporting the business in developing its UK commercial MGA platform.
Now, in a post on LinkedIn, the promoted leader declared: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief executive officer of the UK commercial MGA at Geo Underwriting.” Industry peers have since offered congratulations.
Manned by more than 600 people, Geo Underwriting houses multiple specialist brands spanning a broad product range for both the UK and international markets.
