GBN Worldwide has unveiled its latest venture, GBN Worldwide Risk Solutions Ltd, operating under the name GBN Risk Solutions (GBN RS), as a newly established independent broker and managing general agent (MGA) based in London.

This new entity is set to play a key role in the expansion of international business activities for GBN Worldwide and its affiliates, offering the broader insurance market opportunities to place risks in regions beyond their local jurisdictions.

GBN RS will leverage the expertise of over 10,000 insurance and risk management professionals across more than 150 countries. Initially focusing on serving UK brokers with international clientele, there are plans to extend its services to European and American markets in the forthcoming periods.

Jamil Elbahou, chairman of Silverbrook Holdings, the parent entity of GBN Worldwide and the ConnectUW Holdings Group, expressed enthusiasm over the launch of GBN Risk Solutions.

“We are excited to announce the launch of GBN Risk Solutions in the 10th year since GBN Worldwide first opened its doors. During that time, it has grown to become one of the world’s largest insurance networks, transacting USD billions in premium annually,” Elbahou said.

He also pointed out the complexities involved in managing insurance and reinsurance programs across borders, asserting that GBN RS is poised to offer its network's expertise to wholesale and retail brokers for issuing international programs efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

“The philosophy of our group remains central,” Elbahou said. “We provide services and capacity to the broker partners we work with in London and abroad.”
