Arthur J Gallagher Holdings (UK) Limited has appointed Elizabeth Jenkin (pictured) as an independent non-executive director.
Jenkins is currently the chief executive officer of digital insurance platform Nimbla and non-executive director for Fidelis UK.
She also serves as a non-executive director of the Football Association, and an advisory board member of APS Intelligence. She was previously managing director for strategy at RFIB, and prior to that she worked at Aon for 20 years, latterly as the chief broking officer for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Commenting on her new role, Jenkin said that she was “delighted to join the board of Gallagher at such an exciting time for the business.”
“I believe my in-depth knowledge of international broking will bring meaningful insight, and I’m looking forward to working alongside my fellow non-executive directors to help Gallagher achieve its goals,” said Jenkin.
For her part, Sue Langley, non-executive UK chair of Gallagher, said that the firm was “thrilled that Elizabeth has chosen to join us.”
“This appointment builds on the existing knowledge in the team, and we will benefit from Elizabeth’s background in broking, as Gallagher continues to grow its client base and services in the UK,” said Langley.
