Commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global has tapped Andrew Bryson (pictured) to serve as operations senior vice president and manager of the firm’s London operations.
Bryson will be in charge of FM Global’s UK business, succeeding Philip Johnson who is now based at the Luxembourg office after being appointed as senior vice president, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) division manager.
An electronic engineering degree holder, Bryson first came onboard FM Global in 1995 as a field engineer. He went on to become an account manager before assuming risk management roles at British manufacturer Cobham Plc and pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.
The University of Reading alumnus eventually returned to FM Global and was operations engineering manager for the London operations prior to his new appointment.
Meanwhile taking Bryson’s place as operations engineering manager in London is Russell Kirby, who also joined as a field engineer in 1995. An electrical and electronic engineering graduate from Liverpool John Moores University, Kirby was a senior account manager for the London operations from 2017.
