Ethos Broking partner Finch has today announced that it is expanding its regional footprint in the South of England with the purchase of Headley Group, its first acquisition of 2021. The deal is the 12th acquisition Finch has made since becoming part of Ethos Broking.
Headley Group, an independent broker and Compass Networks member, was founded in 2003 and operates from three offices across the South – Alton, Godalming and Bournemouth, which is also home to BM Property Services.
The broker, which handles over £13 million GWP, is made up of four directors and has a team of 30 staff, all of whom will remain with the business upon deal competition. It is a predominantly commercial lines brokerage with high net worth clients and a specialist Morgan car scheme.
Commenting on the purchase, Finch MD Paul Goodman said he is excited to get his first acquisition as MD over the line and that he is pleased that Headley Group has taken this slot. He also noted that Headley Grop is a business with strong regional ties within its communities.
