Bermuda-based Fidelis Insurance has appointed Alison Clarke as senior underwriter in London.
Bringing with her two decades of industry experience, Clarke makes the switch from Zurich Insurance where she served as head of offshore energy. In her new role, the key hire will assume management responsibilities within Fidelis’s London underwriting team, focusing on continuing the growth of the group’s offering.
“I look forward to joining the Fidelis underwriting team to continue the success they’ve had in building their underwriting book,” said Clarke, who has been an active member of the Lloyd’s Market Association joint rig committee for offshore energy. “Their focus on designing and delivering innovative and flexible solutions that are tailored to clients’ specific needs, in a highly responsive manner, is key to success in today’s market.”
The senior underwriter has worked in several sectors of the energy and marine market, including downstream, upstream, and construction.
