Andrew Kendrick (pictured) has been appointed as non-executive chairman of the board at Everest Insurance (Ireland), Dac.
In the announcement by Everest Insurance, the company said Kendrick will also serve as an advisor to Everest Insurance International. The underwriting expert, who brings four decades of experience, will come on board on April 7.
Kendrick’s credentials include time spent as president and chair of Chubb European Group and as part of the Lloyd’s underwriting and claims committee, Lloyd’s Market Association board, and Lloyd’s franchise board. Currently he sits as board chair at Tysers Insurance Brokers.
Adam Clifford, co-lead of Everest Insurance International, commented in a release: “Andrew is a distinguished industry veteran with extensive experience leading successful expansion strategies for global insurance organisations. This, coupled with his board service to several multinational organisations, makes him a valuable addition to Everest’s European board of directors.”
Meanwhile, co-lead Jason Keen said he looks forward to working with Kendrick and leveraging his expertise and guidance as Everest Re Group’s insurance division continues to diversify and grow.
“We are pleased to welcome Andrew to the European board,” added Everest Re Group president and chief executive Juan C. Andrade. “His industry and regulatory experience across Europe and around the world will be an asset as we continue to scale our insurance business and augment our global capabilities.”
