Timothy Powell (pictured) has come onboard Everest Insurance – the primary insurance division of US-headquartered global provider Everest Re Group – in the UK to serve as financial lines head.
Tasked with overseeing underwriting, market engagement, and treaty purchasing for international financial lines customers, Powell brings more than three decades of industry experience from the likes of AXA XL, Allianz, and AIG. He joins from Zurich Insurance Group where he was global head of financial lines & cyber.

Powell succeeds Christian Colombera, who is taking on the role of Australia managing director and Pacific region head.
