Leicester-based Erskine Murray has joined the elite roster of Chartered Insurance Brokers.
Awarded Chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the independent insurance brokerage cited the commitment of its workforce and directors in achieving the required standards. Erskine Murray also pointed to “serious obligations” as part of securing the industry badge.
“We must ensure the continual technical and professional development of our staff through professional qualifications; that all directors and at least 90% of customer-facing staff belong to the CII and adhere to its Code of Ethics; and that all staff keep their skills-set and knowledge up to date,” noted the enterprise.
Meanwhile managing director Alan Wheeler ACII (Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute) believes the credential represents a breakthrough.
“Receiving this title marks a milestone in the onward development of our business, in line with our vision of continually putting clients first, achieving excellence in all that we do, and establishing Erskine Murray as a leading UK independent insurance broker,” said Wheeler.
“We look forward to meeting the on-going insurance requirements of our clients, and, in line with our Chartered status, exceeding expectations in terms of service, quality, and professionalism.”
