Global wholesale insurance and reinsurance broker Ed has appointed Roshan Choolhun as divisional director of its A&H and contingency business.
Joining Ed from
RKH Specialty, Choolhun will be responsible for growing the A&H and contingency business particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. At
RKH Specialty he was divisional director in charge of producing and broking Middle Eastern direct and facultative business.
Choolhun began his career in 1998 at Cox Insurance Holdings and spent more than 10 years at Chesterfield Insurance Brokers.
“Throughout his career he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to develop new business in emerging markets and is the ideal candidate to realise our ambitions for our A&H and contingency division,” said Ed group commercial director Andrew Wallin.
Choolhun, who brings with him almost 20 years of industry experience, is the latest in a series of appointments Wallin describes as high-calibre. “I am very pleased to welcome him to the team,” he said.
