Ecclesiastical Insurance has established a new partnership with Brooks Braithwaite, part of the Petcover Group, to introduce a scheme dedicated to pet professionals.
This collaboration, the company says, signifies Ecclesiastical's commitment to expanding its schemes portfolio and working closely with specialist brokers.
Brooks Braithwaite, based in Haywards Heath, specialises in insurance products for animal-related businesses, including animal centres, shows, dog walkers, pet sitters, kennels, and catteries. This latest alliance is indicative of Ecclesiastical's strategy to collaborate with brokers who have a deep understanding of their clients' unique risks.
Ecclesiastical's collaboration with Brooks Braithwaite reflects a shared specialism in insurance. With over 35 years of experience in the sector, Brooks Braithwaite's insights will be instrumental in growing the scheme. Ecclesiastical looks forward to a long-term partnership, focusing on understanding and meeting the specific insurance needs of pet professionals.
The firm has set a goal to double its business size by 2026, identifying the schemes market as a key growth area. The company has recently engaged in new schemes with Brokerbility for its Bricks and Mortar scheme, MGA iprism on a community proposition, and Towergate to offer property capacity to larger care home providers.
“Partnering with Brooks Braithwaite gives us a fantastic opportunity to expand our schemes book and to work with a specialist broker who knows their market intimately. We moved quickly to support them when their underwriter pulled out, providing customers with certainty around cover despite short notice. Full credit has to go to our team here at Ecclesiastical for the pace of the onboarding process,” Ecclesiastical schemes and facilities director Chris Withers said.
