E2e Total Loss Claims Management has appointed Eddie Longworth (pictured) as its new chief executive officer.
Longworth has more than 27 years of industry experience. He founded a consultancy firm called JEL Consulting and partnered with the Vehicle Recyclers Association to produce a report that quantified the carbon emission savings achieved by using recycled vehicle parts, according to a report from ATF Professional.
E2e Total Loss Claims Management is a UK-based collective vehicle salvage operator that delivers salvage and recycling services that are environmentally compliant.
“This is a tremendously exciting time for the business as we continue to carve out a distinct offering in the marketplace, and I am delighted to have been asked to lead the effort,” Longworth commented. “There are tremendous changes afoot in our sector and the agility, innovation and fast pace of change we can offer to our clients is a real game-changer that I am very pleased to be part of.”
In a video introducing himself as CEO, Longworth said that the company’s goal is to deliver technology-based services to its customers.
“What we want to do for you is to bring forward new innovations, new ideas, interesting ways of using technology to achieve your end and also to achieve our end of providing an amazing service at a competitive cost,” he said.
Longworth also noted the company’s different approach to offering its services.
“We don’t want to be the same as the other suppliers. We don’t want to be the same as the big national, multi-national companies,” he said. “We are a small player that packs a big punch.”
The company currently has 11 members that serve as its owners and shareholders, Longworth said.
Despite its goal of being different, Longworth emphasised that the company is also able to adapt.
“Market conditions change. So we need to change,” he stated in the video. “And if you need to change then we want to change with you. That’s why we’re here.”
In 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company partnered with insurers and fleet operators to offer short-notice support to help address possible supply chain continuity issues. The company also provided access to reclaimed parts with dispatch carried out within 24 hours.
