Joining DUAL UK in May as chief distribution officer is Rob Corner, while incoming chief underwriting officer Catherine Dixon will come on board in June. Their appointments come hot on the heels of UK & Europe chief actuary Catherine Farnworth’s arrival last month.
“I am absolutely delighted to be welcoming the three of them to the already strong UK leadership team,” DUAL UK chief executive Simon McGinn, who himself joined at the start of the year, said in a release.
“DUAL has been on a significant growth journey in our home market, both organically and through bringing in new teams, and we have plans to do so much more in 2024 and beyond.”
According to the CEO, Corner’s newly created role is “absolutely critical” to DUAL UK’s growth plans. Dixon, meanwhile, is set to ensure that the agency’s underwriting, governance, and approach to market reflect its position as a major provider.
Farnworth, whose remit is wider with the inclusion of Europe, will focus on pricing and underwriting profitability in the region.
“Catherine, Catherine, and Rob bring fantastic relevant experience and complementary skills to the DUAL UK leadership team,” McGinn added.
“We are now well positioned to drive our business forward in a way that not only supports our capacity providers, but that also continues to deliver great insurance solutions to our brokers and customers.”
